Trump Tower Rolls to 3-0 Start

Como Se Dice (how do you say) - Hot? The Trump Tower Flames remained unbeaten after a 17-10 victory in game 3 of the season. But the only thing hotter after the game was their player/manager Ho (whose idol happens to be Ozzie Guillen) when he found out they lost 0.15 spirit points - "If this costs us at the end of the season, the [bleeping] [bleep] who cost us this will pay. And the [bleeping] press, can go [bleep] themselves...we're not the bad guys you make us out to be. So [bleep] off."

The game got off to a shaky start as the manager actually wanted scissors (rock, paper, scissors is applied to win the home team advantage) but for some unknown reason showed paper - but winning the battle for home team none the less. The Flames are now 3-0 as home team, although there were some grumblings to choose to play as visitors - just to get an extra at bat. Ho said: "We play to win, nothing more..nothing less."

The Flames got off to another slow start scoring only 1 in the first but following it up with 6 in the 2nd inning and another big 6 runs in the 5th to eke out a 17-10 victory and remain unbeaten in the spring campaign.

Paul Culham showed up to play with some solid fielding at SS, also going 3 for 3. Teddy E. (aka Alex Rios) showed some tremendous power with a shot to CF that was caught at the warning track. Sounding like a broken record, Anthony hit his 3rd HR of the campaign, this one to CF. Ted O. hit his 2nd HR in the 5th with an inside the parker driving in a few runs.

On a more calmer note, the manager did compliment his team somewhat: "That's Flames baseball what you saw tonight- solid defence with big ball offense. We don't bunt or steal bases, that's not in our repetoire."

Game Notes: Kelly "Onion Boobs" Sweetman (is that her real last name?) made her debut for the club, going 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Kristian Borg-Olivier continues his rehab assignment in Europe (torn ACL) and was last seen re-enacting the storming of the beaches of Normandy on D-day. He is expected to rejoin the team in 2 weeks.

Special thanks to our guest statistician - AC Bedard. A help wanted notice has been posted for a videographer for game film as well.
